It will really put a burden on your wallet when you buy a car. Young kids really enjoy taking out loans to buy new cars. I have a few tips for those of you who want to do this.

My first tip

Avoiding buying a new car is my first tip. Even the first few seconds of driving the car costs a couple thousand dollars. When you buy a car a few years old, you will save a lot of money. Buying new cars isn’t the smartest idea for someone who is just now buying their first car; it is expensive and not practical.

Your second suggestion

The car you buy needs to be older. You might not have your first car very long. The first car you buy you shouldn’t want to keep for too long. The best way to save is to buy a car form the nineties rather than this year. The price will drop if you buy a car that doesn’t work properly in all areas. A few years of work or college should be about how long you’ll need the car to work.

My Third Tip

Paying for your car in cash is my third tip. They are going to want to give you a bargain when you show up with cash instead of other forms of payment. This will work with anything and not just when you’re buying cars. Many people are going to sell you things for cheap when you have cash in your hands. Receiving a receipt or contract is what you need if you pay with cash. Showing that you have made an agreement or purchase will protect you in the long run.

What to do fourth

Make sure you save up for the car instead of taking out a loan. Don’t take out more than you need to in loans for a first car. You will end up saving a lot of money and better appreciating the car. It will cost you a lot of money in interest to try and pay back a car loan. I would suggest you take out as little loan as possible for your first car.

Your fifth suggestion

You need to take care of the car you just put a lot of money into. To help your car run long you will need to treat it right. Changing the oil and checking the engine are good things to do. Try not to go on too many long trips. Make sure to keep your car clean both inside and outside. All of these things will help you to have a nice, >inexpensive first car that will run for a long time.
