Driving alone in the car is really not good for the environment, everyone already knows this right?? If you are really that concerned about the environment then walk, bike or car pool in as this is going to cause less C02 but back to the point, it would seem that people that drive alone are happier than the people that do not.
New research has just been released to say that over 60% of drivers are claiming to be a lot happier when they make a solo car trip and according to many people it is a sign of a much happier life. According to the results it would seem that driving solo helps the people behind the wheel to appreciate the scenery and gives them time to think. You can see why this helps people, after all, working then coming straight home to a family means you have no time at all to yourself during the day.
Many people out there admit that they would like a lot more time to themselves when it comes to lives. Do car accessories assist with the alone time you have, surely one of those Garmin Nuvi Sat Navs is going to make things worse?
Other questions were of course asked during this study and the celebrities that people want to be sitting in the car with most, Cheryl Cole and Stephan Fry of course, interesting I thought but I get both of them.
So whether driving back from work in your car with those new car mats in place talking to yourself or simply a leisurely drive in the country, according to this research you are going to have a fantastically relaxing time if you are alone. I am not too convinced on this at all, 2000 people that is it.
